David Ayala

David Ayala has been a passionate musician for the past 17 years. At 9 years old, David started his musical journey with the trumpet. Some musical highlights with this instrument include playing in a mariachi band and performing at Carnegie Hall in 2017.

At 16, David developed his love for the piano and that is where his passion has been for over a decade. Some piano accolades of David’s include: performing for charity events, local musicals, accompanying a multitude of instruments and receiving several scholarships in recognition for his piano performances. He has taught trumpet and piano for the last 3 years and is excited to continue his journey with Steinway.

David has earned degrees from his time in Fresno City College where he was studying under Dr. Brandon Bascom in piano. He is currently pursuing upper-level education at Fresno State University where he plans on focusing in Piano Performance under the teaching of Dr. Peter Kilmo.
