Daniel Cobarrubias

I began my musical journey in 2001, starting with the drums. Over time, I taught myself to play the bass, guitar, and piano, and I have been leading worship since 2005. Initially self-taught, I pursued formal education in college starting in 2007, where I had the privilege of learning from distinguished instructors such as Mike Dana, Kevin Cooper, and Larry Honda, as well as various worship leaders throughout the years. Throughout my career, I have led and developed numerous worship teams across different churches. Additionally, I have accumulated valuable experience in audio engineering over the past two decades. I have played with several bands and organized performances for various groups during special events. Since 2017, I have enjoyed the opportunity to perform guitar for the local theater, participating in productions such as Little Shop of Horrors, Wedding Singer, Mamma Mia, and more. Currently, I serve as a worship leader for my church's primary worship team and as the youth worship director. In this capacity, I also oversee sound, lighting, and stage construction. Moving forward, I plan to continue my college education to deepen my understanding of guitar and piano, with a specific emphasis on audio engineering.

Hello, my name is Mr. Daniel Cobarrubias! My mission for my students extends beyond instrumental proficiency; I aim to cultivate a deep understanding and appreciation for music, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to excel in practice and performance. My expertise lies in music theory, ear training, improvisation, accompaniment, stage performance, and arrangement, as well as guiding students in creating their own original compositions. I am well-versed in a variety of genres, including Christian Contemporary Music (CCM), Gospel, Jazz, Rock, Country, and Pop. I look forward to fostering an enriching learning environment where students can unlock their full musical brilliance.
