Kayla Moore is a senior at Fresno State University studying Music. She has been teaching piano lessons since 2016. Kayla has received her associates in music at Fresno City College. Kayla has studied piano and piano pedagogy under Dr. Brandon Bascom and Dr. Peter Klimo. She was the President of Music Teachers National Association collegiate chapter at Fresno City College and studied music history abroad in Germany, Austria, and Italy. Kayla presented at a conference with members of her collegiate chapter for The California Association of Professional Music Teachers in 2019. Kayla has also played piano with the Fresno City College Band, church worship services, and for fundraising events.

A NOTE FROM YOUR TEACHER:
I will be a guide in the music process and I strive to make lessons fun and enjoyable for my students. I believe that everyone has their own musical talents that they can further develop into something incredible if they put their minds to it. I work to create a positive environment that encourages students to ask questions, make observations, and gain confidence in their own abilities. In this way, they can use these skills to become independent learners. Since each student has a different set of skills, I adapt my style of teaching to meet their individual needs and to help them grow as musicians.
