I have experience teaching a wide range of ages and skill levels. For preschoolers, I focus on strengthening their hands and voices through singing and music exercises. For older students, I use the Alfred Basic Piano curriculum, incorporating different books for lessons, technique, note reading, and theory. I have a real passion for ministry! Teaching our youth how to play and sing worship music at my church has been so fulfilling.
I also offer a variety of recital repertoire to accommodate different religious preferences. In addition to my teaching experience, I've had some amazing performance opportunities with my teacher Rick Robbins. Traveling to London and Paris with my high school choir and winning 1st place in all categories at the Heritage Festival were incredible experiences. I've also had the chance to perform in various plays and musicals. I took six years of vocal instruction from Professor Heather Chu at Reedley College. I also sang in chamber ensembles at Reedley and Fresno City College, guided by Professor Julie Dana. Also got my piano certificate for completing all levels of piano with Dr. Brandon Bascom at Fresno City College. They have all played a significant role in shaping my musical journey and helping me develop my skills and passion for music.
