Kevin is currently finishing his Bachelors in jazz performance from California State University, Fresno. Where he has studied piano with the likes of Professor Craig Vonberg and Andreas Werz, and has also studied music with local jazz legends Richard Lloyd Giddens Jr., Brian Hamada, Mike Dana, Larry Honda and the likes of many others. Along with being a local piano teacher Kevin is a regular gigging musician that performs for several churches, restaurants, weddings, and various venues. Not only does he perform locally but his talents have taken him out of the state to places such as New York, Reno Nevada and several cities throughout California.
A note from Kevin:
It is my goal to give all of my students the tools to be the musicians that they aspire to be, to me being a musician is just like being an artist. Even though creatives such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Picasso, and Vincent van Gogh all used a paint brush as a tool, they all created something very unique and singular to their individual selves. And through the piano being our paint brush I believe the same uniqueness can be achieved through each and every one of us. Most importantly I want everyone who comes through my studio to enjoy the process of learning and to be able to discover themselves along the way!
