STEINWAY PIANO GALLERY OF FRESNO
SCHOOL OF MUSIC

As the School Director, I’m so grateful to be part of a family business that has been centered around music for so many years.

I’ve been surrounded by pianos and musicians my entire life, and what started as learning music eventually grew into a passion for
teaching and helping others discover it for themselves.

Music has always been more than just playing the right notes—it’s a way to express yourself, build confidence, and experience something that truly enriches the soul. That’s something I carry with me in the way I approach music education every day.

Our mission is simple: to create a welcoming, supportive space where students of all ages and levels can learn, grow, and enjoy the process of making music. Whether someone is just starting out or continuing their journey, we want lessons to feel encouraging, engaging, and something they look forward to each week.

We’re proud to offer a variety of programs designed to meet each student where they are, with instructors who genuinely care and are committed to helping them succeed.

I believe every student learns differently, and our goal is to
support that by keeping lessons both structured and personal.

At the end of the day, music is a lifelong skill, one that builds discipline, creativity, and confidence, and it’s an honor to be part of passing that on to our students.

I invite you to explore our programs, meet our amazing teachers, and become part of our music community.

We’re so excited to be part of your musical journey!

See you in the studio,

Natalia Oviedo

Our Facility:

At our music school, we believe the learning environment is just as important as the lesson itself. That’s why we’ve created a space that supports creativity, comfort, and focus—for students, teachers, and families alike.

Observation Windows

Each classroom door includes an observation window, allowing parents to quietly check in on their child’s progress without disrupting the lesson. We value transparency and believe in creating an open, welcoming space for everyone.

Modern Digital Pianos

All teaching rooms are equipped with high-quality digital pianos that offer a responsive, weighted key feel and authentic sound. These instruments support a professional learning experience for beginners and advanced students alike.

Personalized Teaching Rooms

Our classrooms reflect the unique personality and style of each teacher. From inspiring wall art to cozy or contemporary themes, every room is thoughtfully designed to spark joy and creativity. It’s a small touch that makes a big difference in how students connect with their space.

Comfortable Waiting Areas

We offer comfortable seating areas for parents and siblings who wish to stay during lessons. Whether you’re reading a book or simply enjoying a quiet moment, our waiting spaces are designed to be calm, clean, and welcoming.

Lighting and Ambiance

Our rooms feature soft LED lighting to match the mood and energy of each lesson. This helps create a warm and engaging environment that students look forward to.

Sound-Treated Classrooms

To ensure focused practice and clear instruction, all rooms are sound-treated. This minimizes noise transfer between classrooms, so students can fully engage with their lesson without distractions.

Tech-Ready Spaces

Many of our rooms are equipped with Bluetooth Digital Pianos to support our modern teaching methods. Our tools allow for rhythm games, listening exercises, and other interactive learning experiences.

Specialty Music Equipment

Teachers have access to a variety of professional tools—such as microphones, amplifiers, and foot pedals—to enhance performance preparation and diversify instruction based on the needs of each student.

Clean and Safe Environment

We take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitized facility. High-touch surfaces are cleaned regularly, and all rooms are well-ventilated to ensure a healthy and comfortable environment for students and staff.

Easy Scheduling

Our scheduling system makes it simple to book lessons with direct teacher communication, easy changes, and receive helpful reminders. We know families are busy, and we strive to make every part of the experience smooth and stress-free.

Performance Opportunities:

At our music school, we believe that performance is an essential part of musical growth. It’s where technique meets expression, and where students build confidence, community, and a real love for their craft.

Our child students enjoy four themed recitals each year, giving them regular opportunities to perform in a fun, encouraging environment. Each recital features a unique theme that guides song selection—turning preparation into an adventure and performance into a celebration.

Adult students participate in three recitals annually, designed specifically with adult learners in mind. These events provide a supportive space to share progress, connect with fellow musicians, and rediscover (or reignite) a passion for performing—whether it’s a first-time experience or a return to the stage after many years.

Beyond recitals, our students benefit from exclusive performance and enrichment opportunities throughout the year. These include guest artist concerts, masterclasses, and presentations from music industry professionals, all woven into their annual music program. It’s our way of ensuring students don’t just learn music—they live it.

ROLAND DIGITAL UPRIGHTS

At our school, we believe that extraordinary music begins with extraordinary instruments. That’s why we are proud to offer our students the opportunity to perform on the iconic Steinway & Sons 9-foot Concert Grand Piano—an instrument regarded by professionals as the gold standard in the world of piano performance. In fact, 98% of concert pianists worldwide choose Steinway for its unmatched craftsmanship, tone, and touch.

This isn’t just a piano—it’s a legacy. When students take the stage, they are stepping into the footsteps of the greatest pianists in history.

Our commitment to excellence extends into every classroom. Each teaching studio is equipped with state-of-the-art Roland digital pianos and Steinway-designed instruments, ensuring a professional-quality playing experience from the very first lesson. These instruments are specifically chosen to support proper technique and inspire musical growth at every level.

Our Roland digital pianos are also equipped with advanced recording capabilities, allowing students to bring a thumb drive and record their performances. This powerful tool helps students track progress, improve accuracy, and hear the music the way it was meant to be played. Because when you learn on the best, you become your best.
