Sela Yarbrough began piano lessons at age three, and since age six, has studied with Andreas Werz. Currently a 9th grader, Sela has performed throughout California and Japan. She has had the privilege of performing for Antoinette Perry, as well as in master classes with Michael Krikorian, Ran Dank, Marc-André Hamelin, and Richard Goode.

Recently receiving Honors in the CAPMT Competition State Finals and the Sylvia M. Ghiglieri Piano Competition, Sela was also awarded First Prize in the MTAC Fresno Branch Piano Competition Senior Division, First Prize in the Paderewski Festival Youth Competition, First Prize in the SoCal International Piano Competition, and is a gold medalist of the Central Valley Baroque Festival. Besides her musical studies, Sela is a student of Taekwondo, currently pursuing a Black Belt, and is an avid reader in both English and Japanese.
